One of the joys of hanging out in a place for more than a few days is that we don’t feel rushed to do anything. It also helps to have extra time when we are also trying to do work on super slow internet. It forces us to work much slower than we are used to and this sets the pace for just about everything else that we do.

Come Spend Christmas in Rome with Us.
Announcing our next photography workshop: “Christmas Italian Style”
A 2 on the Run photography workshop lead by award-winning photographers, Neeley and Matt Drown
December 20 – December 30, 2015 (10 nights)

Fifteen Hundred Miles
Fifteen hundred miles and we made it! We had a few hiccups along the way, but Neeley and I have just spent the past week decompressing and we are slowly acclimating to a different lifestyle.

The truck needed a bit of work – oil change, fluid flush, etc. We bought a spare five-gallon gas can and water can just in case of emergencies. Then we had to prep our laptops, put together first aid and medical supplies, and most importantly, catch up on sleep. The two weeks prior to moving out were non-stop and we were exhausted.
Farewell and New Beginnings
We said farewell to our house today. This marks the beginning of our adventure, something that both excites us, and makes us nervous about the unknowns.
We’ve decided to embrace the unknown head-on, and accept the challenges as they come.
Today we are nomads.
