When Neeley and I started planning for our trip around the world, we wanted to start with something that was just sitting around at a beach and decompressing from our previous life. We chose Todos Santos because it looked like a good place to relax and chill. It has been and we’ve had a wonderful time staying here, going to the beach and sampling fish tacos. This past week we managed to hang out at the beach most of the time, but we also took time to visit San Jose del Cabo, and also started planning the next stage of our trip. We also survived hurricane/tropical-storm Blanca as she passed through. Thankfully, she caused very little damage.
But our plan is to see the world, not just one town. So we move on, heading out of Todos Santos onward to San Jose del Cabo tomorrow.
San Jose is on the edge of the Gulf of California. We plan on doing some touristy things in Cabo San Lucas, meetings up with friends who are in town on vacation, and also to check out the Los Cabos Open Surf competition.
Later in the week we leave for La Paz to take the ferry across the Gulf of California to Mazatlan, to start our journey across mainland Mexico.
Enjoy another batch of pictures of Todos Santos below.

Looks like you are having an amazing time. I look forward to following your travels. Matt is missing the cow bells at work. I have on my desk right now :-). Safe travels down to Columbia.
Thanks a lot, Neeley and I are having fun, and sounds like things are going well at the old farmstead.
